Rava on the Rocks: An Free Outdoor Concert Series featuring live music by Jonathan Foster Held on the vineyard lawn adjacent
Forging his own American dream, singer-songwriter Jonathan Foster brings a roots blend of Folk-Americana music as a recording and performing artist. He is known for his soulful vocals, acoustic guitar and harmonica, passionate delivery, and off the beaten path introspective lyrics. His 5th full-length independent studio effort debuts to the world June 1, 2021, and is packed with musical residuals from the past year of reflective moments during uncertain days.
Jonathan revels in engaging listeners with his tunes both solo and occasionally with a band. He has spent much of his life travelling and touring small venues across the U.S. for the past 10 years, reaching from over 20 years of songwriting and has driven across the country over 15 times to play in nearly all of the lower 48. He grew up in Cranberry Lake, New York in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains and has called Northern California home since 2001, primarily atop the Central Valley in Redding. In his music you’ll hear traces of his rural upbringing, geographic meanderings, and love of the outdoors with songwriter inspiration from John Prine, John Hiatt, Bob Dylan, James McMurtry, Todd Snider, Townes Van Zandt, Hayes Carll, Gillian Welch, Jason Isbell, Steve Earle, Neil Young, Natalie Merchant, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, and Warren Zevon.
